Thrust2 is a British land speed record vehicle designed to break speed records on land. Built in the late 1970s, it features a streamlined design and is powered by two Rolls-Royce Spey jet engines, allowing it to reach incredible speeds.
In 1983, Thrust2 successfully set a world record by achieving a speed of 633.468 miles per hour (1,019.468 km/h) in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. This achievement made it one of the fastest vehicles on land, showcasing advancements in engineering and aerodynamics.
