Three-Way Switch
A three-way switch is a type of electrical switch that allows you to control a single light fixture from two different locations. This is particularly useful in large rooms or hallways where you want to turn the light on or off from either end. The switches are connected by a special wiring configuration that enables this functionality.
In a typical setup, two three-way switches are installed, and they work together to complete or break the electrical circuit. When one switch is flipped, it changes the path of electricity, allowing the light to turn on or off, regardless of the position of the other switch. This design enhances convenience and safety in home lighting.
