"Three Billy Goats Gruff" is a Norwegian fairy tale about three goats who want to cross a bridge to reach a meadow full of grass. The goats are named Billy Goat Gruff, and they are each larger than the last. However, a troll lives under the bridge and threatens to eat them if they try to cross. The smallest goat goes first and tricks the troll into waiting for the middle-sized goat, saying it is bigger and tastier. The middle goat then does the same, leading the troll to wait for the largest goat. Finally, the largest goat confronts the troll and pushes him off the bridge, allowing all three goats to cross safely.
