Thomas Holland, 1st Baron Holland
Thomas Holland, 1st Baron Holland (c. 1350–1400), was an English nobleman and a prominent figure during the late 14th century. He was the son of Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent and Joan of Kent, and he played a significant role in the political landscape of England. Holland was known for his loyalty to King Richard II and was involved in various military campaigns, including those in France during the Hundred Years' War.
In 1381, Thomas Holland was granted the title of Baron Holland, which elevated his status among the English nobility. He was also a member of the House of Lords and participated in important legislative matters of the time. His marriage to Eleanor de Bohun further strengthened his connections within the aristocracy, as she was the daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 7th Earl of Hereford.
