Thomas Gilmer
Thomas Gilmer was an American politician who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia. He was born on December 6, 1800, and was a member of the Democratic Party. Gilmer represented Virginia's 10th congressional district from 1843 until 1847.
In addition to his congressional service, Gilmer held various local offices and was involved in state politics. He was known for his commitment to issues affecting his constituents and played a role in the political landscape of his time. Gilmer passed away on February 3, 1868.
