Thoas
Thoas is a figure from Greek mythology, known primarily as the king of Lemnos, an island in the Aegean Sea. He is often associated with the Argonauts, a group of heroes who embarked on a quest for the Golden Fleece. Thoas played a role in the story of Philoctetes, a hero who was abandoned on Lemnos due to a wound.
In some myths, Thoas is depicted as a son of Dionysus and Ariadne, while other accounts suggest he is a descendant of Thersites. His character is sometimes linked to themes of hospitality and leadership, reflecting the values of ancient Greek society.
