Third Circuit Court of Appeals
The Third Circuit Court of Appeals is one of the thirteen federal appellate courts in the United States. It hears appeals from federal district courts in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, as well as some administrative agencies. The court is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is responsible for reviewing decisions made by lower courts to ensure they comply with federal law.
Established in 1891, the Third Circuit is composed of a panel of judges who evaluate cases based on legal arguments and evidence presented. The court's decisions can set important legal precedents that affect not only the states within its jurisdiction but also influence broader federal law across the country.
