They (Pronouns)
The pronoun "they" is commonly used in English to refer to a group of people or things. It can also be used as a singular pronoun to refer to an individual whose gender is unknown or to someone who prefers not to be identified by traditional gender pronouns like he or she. This usage promotes inclusivity and respect for individual identity.
In addition to its role as a pronoun, "they" can function as a subject or object in a sentence. For example, in the sentence "They are going to the store," "they" serves as the subject. In contrast, in "I saw them at the park," "them" is the object. This versatility makes "they" an important part of everyday language.
