Theophylactus
Theophylactus, often referred to as Theophylact, was a notable figure in the Byzantine Empire, primarily recognized for his role as a scholar and ecclesiastical leader. He served as the Archbishop of Achrida in the 11th century and is best known for his commentaries on the Bible, which aimed to make the scriptures more accessible to the faithful.
