"The Way Way Back" is a coming-of-age film that follows a shy 14-year-old boy named Duncan as he navigates a summer vacation with his mother, Pam, and her overbearing boyfriend, Bobby. Set in a beach town, Duncan feels out of place and struggles to find his identity amidst the challenges of adolescence. During his summer, Duncan discovers a water park called Water Wizz, where he forms friendships with the quirky staff, including the carefree manager, Owen.
