The Twelve Chairs (Musical)
The Twelve Chairs is a musical adaptation of the 1928 novel by Ilf and Petrov. Set in Soviet Russia, it follows the story of Ippolit Matveyevich Vorobyaninov, a former nobleman who discovers that his deceased mother-in-law hid a fortune in jewels inside one of twelve chairs. Alongside a con artist named Ostap Bender, he embarks on a comedic quest to find the chairs before they are all sold off.
