The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization focused on providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth. Founded in 1998, it offers a 24/7 helpline, online chat, and text support, ensuring that young people have access to immediate help and resources.
In addition to crisis support, The Trevor Project also engages in advocacy and education efforts to promote acceptance and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues. It provides training for educators and community members to create safer environments for LGBTQ+ youth, helping to reduce stigma and discrimination in schools and communities.
