The Ninety-Nines
The Ninety-Nines is an international organization of women pilots founded in 1929. Its primary goal is to promote the advancement of women in aviation and provide support and networking opportunities for female pilots. The name refers to the original 99 women who became members, including notable aviator Amelia Earhart.
Today, The Ninety-Nines offers scholarships, mentorship programs, and resources for women pursuing careers in aviation. The organization also works to encourage young girls to explore aviation through outreach programs and events, fostering a new generation of female pilots and aviation professionals.
