The Man Who Cried Wolf
"The Man Who Cried Wolf" is a fable about a young shepherd boy who repeatedly tricks the villagers by falsely claiming that a wolf is attacking his sheep. Each time he cries out, the villagers rush to help, only to find that there is no wolf. The boy finds their reactions amusing and continues to deceive them.
Eventually, a real wolf appears, and when the boy cries for help, the villagers do not believe him. As a result, the wolf attacks the sheep, and the boy learns a valuable lesson about the consequences of lying and the importance of trust.
