The Hunger Games Series
"The Hunger Games Series" is a dystopian trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. It is set in a future where the nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts, each controlled by the oppressive Capitol. Every year, the Capitol holds the Hunger Games, a televised event where one boy and one girl from each district must fight to the death until only one remains.
The story follows Katniss Everdeen, a brave young woman from District 12, who volunteers to take her sister's place in the Games. Throughout the series, themes of survival, government control, and rebellion are explored as Katniss becomes a symbol of hope for the oppressed districts.
