The Germs
The Germs were an influential American punk rock band formed in 1977 in Los Angeles. The group consisted of lead singer Darby Crash, guitarist Pat Smear, bassist Lorna Doom, and drummer Don Bolles. They are known for their raw sound and chaotic live performances, which helped shape the early punk scene.
Despite their short career, the Germs released a notable album titled GI in 1979, produced by Joan Jett. The band disbanded shortly after, following Crash's tragic death in 1980. Their music continues to inspire punk rock artists and fans, solidifying their legacy in the genre.
