The Broad
The Broad is a contemporary art museum located in downtown Los Angeles. Opened in 2015, it features an extensive collection of postwar and contemporary art, including works by renowned artists such as Jeff Koons and Yayoi Kusama. The museum is known for its striking architecture, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and its unique "veil-and-vault" concept, which allows natural light to filter through while protecting the artwork.
Admission to The Broad is free, although visitors are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance due to high demand. The museum also houses the Broad Art Foundation, which supports the collection and promotes contemporary art through exhibitions and educational programs.
