"The Boy Who Cried Wolf" is a fable about a young shepherd who repeatedly tricks villagers into thinking a wolf is attacking his sheep. Each time he cries out for help, the villagers rush to his aid, only to find that there is no wolf. The boy finds their reactions amusing and continues to deceive them.
Eventually, a real wolf appears, and when the boy cries for help again, the villagers do not believe him. As a result, the wolf attacks the sheep, teaching the boy a valuable lesson about the consequences of deception and the importance of honesty.
