Tham Luang Cave Rescue
The Tham Luang Cave Rescue took place in June and July 2018 in northern Thailand. A youth soccer team, known as the Wild Boars, became trapped in the cave after heavy rains flooded the entrance. The rescue operation involved divers, military personnel, and volunteers from around the world, working tirelessly to locate and extract the boys and their coach.
After 18 days, all 13 members of the team were successfully rescued. The operation faced numerous challenges, including strong currents and limited visibility within the cave. The rescue garnered international attention and highlighted the importance of teamwork and cooperation in crisis situations.
