Texas Ranger Division
The Texas Ranger Division is a law enforcement agency within the Texas Department of Public Safety. Established in 1835, it is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the United States. The Rangers are known for their distinctive attire, including cowboy hats and boots, and they often handle major criminal investigations, border security, and public safety issues across the state.
The division consists of highly trained officers who work on a variety of cases, including homicides, drug trafficking, and organized crime. The Texas Rangers also provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies and are involved in community outreach programs to promote safety and crime prevention.
