Test of Proficiency in Korean
The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a standardized exam designed to assess the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers. It evaluates listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, providing a comprehensive measure of language ability. The test is divided into two levels: TOPIK I for beginners and TOPIK II for intermediate to advanced learners.
Administered by the National Institute for International Education, the TOPIK is held multiple times a year in various countries. Successful candidates receive a certificate that indicates their proficiency level, which can be beneficial for academic, professional, or immigration purposes.
