Teresina
Teresina is the capital city of the state of Piauí in northeastern Brazil. Founded in 1852, it is known for its unique blend of modern and colonial architecture. The city is situated on a plateau, which gives it a distinct climate compared to other regions in Brazil, characterized by a hot and dry environment.
The city is also recognized for its cultural events, including the Festa de São João, a traditional festival celebrated in June. Teresina has several parks and green spaces, such as Parque Ambiental Encontro dos Rios, which provide recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
