Tentacle
A tentacle is a flexible, elongated appendage found in various animals, particularly in cephalopods like octopuses and squids. These structures are often equipped with suckers or other specialized features that help the animal grasp, manipulate objects, or capture prey. Tentacles can also serve sensory functions, allowing the animal to explore its environment.
In addition to cephalopods, tentacles are present in some jellyfish and anemones, where they are used for capturing food and defense. The movement of tentacles is typically controlled by muscles, enabling precise and agile actions in aquatic settings.
