Tenji Emperor
The Tenji Emperor, also known as Emperor Tenji, was the 38th emperor of Japan, reigning from 668 to 671 AD. He is notable for his efforts to strengthen the central government and promote the adoption of Chinese-style reforms, which included the implementation of the Taika Reforms. These reforms aimed to enhance administrative efficiency and consolidate imperial power.
