Tempelhof
Tempelhof is a former airport located in Berlin, Germany. It was originally opened in 1923 and became one of the world's largest airports in the 1930s. The airport played a significant role during the Berlin Airlift in 1948-1949, when supplies were flown in to support West Berlin during the Soviet blockade.
In 2008, Tempelhof was closed to commercial air traffic and has since been transformed into a public park. The vast open space is now used for various recreational activities, including cycling, skating, and picnicking, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
