Teemu Selanne
Teemu Selanne is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player, widely regarded as one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on July 3, 1970, in Helsinki, Finland, he began his career in the Finnish league before moving to the NHL in 1992. Selanne played for several teams, most notably the Anaheim Ducks, where he became a franchise icon.
Throughout his career, Selanne scored over 600 goals and recorded more than 1,400 points, earning numerous accolades, including the Calder Trophy for Rookie of the Year in 1993. He represented Finland in international competitions, winning medals in the Olympics and the World Championships. Selanne was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.
