Teemu Selänne
Teemu Selänne is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player, widely regarded as one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on July 3, 1970, in Helsinki, Finland, he began his career in the Finnish league before moving to the NHL in 1992. Selänne played for several teams, most notably the Anaheim Ducks, where he became a franchise icon.
Throughout his career, Selänne achieved numerous accolades, including the Calder Trophy for Rookie of the Year in 1993 and an Olympic gold medal with the Finnish national team in 1995. He retired in 2014, finishing with over 600 goals and 1,400 points in the NHL, solidifying his legacy in the sport.
