Technōs Japan was a Japanese video game company founded in 1981, known for developing arcade games and home console titles. The company gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s, particularly for its beat 'em up games, such as the iconic Double Dragon series.
In addition to Double Dragon, Technōs Japan created other notable titles like River City Ransom and Super Dodge Ball. The company played a significant role in the gaming industry during its peak, contributing to the growth of multiplayer gaming experiences. Technōs Japan eventually ceased operations in the late 1990s.
