Tawheed
Tawheed is the Islamic concept of monotheism, emphasizing the oneness of Allah. It asserts that there is only one God who is unique, without partners or equals. Tawheed is fundamental to the Islamic faith and shapes the relationship between believers and their Creator.
There are three main categories of Tawheed: Tawheed al-Rububiyyah, which refers to the oneness of God's lordship; Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah, which focuses on the oneness of worship; and Tawheed al-Asma wa al-Sifat, which pertains to the oneness of God's names and attributes. Understanding Tawheed is essential for practicing Islam.
