Tavatimsa
Tavatimsa is a celestial realm in Buddhist cosmology, often described as the abode of the Tavatimsa gods. It is located on the top of Mount Sumeru, which is considered the center of the universe in Buddhist belief. This heavenly realm is known for its beauty and is said to be a place of great happiness and pleasure, where beings enjoy long lives and various forms of bliss.
The inhabitants of Tavatimsa are believed to have attained a high level of spiritual development, often as a result of their good deeds in previous lives. They are also said to be under the influence of Sakra, the king of the gods, who plays a significant role in Buddhist teachings and mythology.
