Tatra chamois
The Tatra chamois is a species of goat-antelope found in the Tatra Mountains of central Europe. It is known for its agile climbing abilities and is well-adapted to steep, rocky terrains. The Tatra chamois has a distinctive dark brown coat, with lighter patches on its sides, and features curved horns that can grow up to 30 centimeters long.
These animals are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses, herbs, and shrubs. The Tatra chamois is a social animal, often seen in small groups, and plays a crucial role in the ecosystem by helping to maintain vegetation balance in its mountainous habitat.
