Tarutao
Tarutao is a national park located in the Andaman Sea, part of Thailand. It consists of a group of islands, with the largest being Tarutao Island. The park is known for its rich biodiversity, featuring various species of plants and animals, as well as beautiful beaches and clear waters.
Established in 1980, Tarutao National Park covers approximately 1,490 square kilometers. It offers opportunities for activities like hiking, snorkeling, and wildlife watching. The park is also home to historical sites, including remnants from the time when it was used as a penal colony.
