Efforts by the government and various organizations have focused on increasing access to education, particularly in rural areas. Despite these advancements, challenges remain, including disparities between urban and rural literacy rates. Tanzanian women, in particular, face barriers to education, resulting in lower literacy levels compared to men. Continued investment in education and community programs is essential to further enhance literacy across the country.
