Tangale language
Tangale language is a member of the Chadic language family, primarily spoken in Nigeria. It is predominantly used by the Tangale people, who reside in the northeastern region of the country, particularly in Gombe State. The language has several dialects, reflecting the diverse communities within the Tangale-speaking population.
As a tonal language, Tangale uses pitch to distinguish meaning between words. It is written using the Latin alphabet, and efforts are being made to promote its use in education and literature. The preservation of the Tangale language is important for maintaining the cultural identity of the Tangale people.
