Tamandua
The Tamandua is a type of anteater found in Central and South America. It has a long snout and a slender body, which helps it reach ants and termites in trees and underground. Tamanduas have strong claws for digging and climbing, and they typically weigh between 4 to 10 kilograms.
These animals are mostly nocturnal and are known for their unique behavior of hanging upside down while feeding. Tamanduas have a prehensile tail that aids in balance and grasping branches. They play an important role in their ecosystem by controlling insect populations and dispersing seeds.
