Talysh Mountains
The Talysh Mountains are a mountain range located in the southeastern part of Azerbaijan and the northwestern region of Iran. They stretch approximately 200 kilometers and are known for their diverse landscapes, including lush forests, steep slopes, and rich biodiversity. The mountains are part of the larger Caucasus mountain system and serve as a natural border between the two countries.
The region is home to various flora and fauna, some of which are endemic to the area. The Talysh people, an ethnic group residing in the mountains, have a unique culture and language. The mountains also offer opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and nature exploration.
