Talpa
Talpa is a genus of small mammals commonly known as moles. These creatures are found primarily in Europe, Asia, and North America. Moles are known for their burrowing habits, which help aerate the soil and control insect populations. They have cylindrical bodies, velvety fur, and powerful forelimbs adapted for digging.
Moles primarily feed on earthworms and other small invertebrates found underground. They have poor eyesight but an excellent sense of touch, which helps them navigate through their dark tunnels. The presence of moles can be identified by the characteristic mounds of soil they create while digging.
