Takeda Katsuyori
Takeda Katsuyori was a prominent Japanese samurai and military leader during the late 16th century. He was the son of Takeda Shingen, one of the most famous warlords of the Sengoku period. Katsuyori inherited his father's domain, the Takeda clan, after Shingen's death in 1573.
Despite his noble lineage, Katsuyori faced significant challenges in maintaining his father's legacy. He struggled against rival clans, particularly the Uesugi clan and Tokugawa Ieyasu. His leadership culminated in the disastrous battle of Nagashino in 1575, which marked a turning point in the decline of the Takeda clan's power.
