Takao-class
The Takao-class is a series of heavy cruisers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the late 1930s. This class includes four ships: Takao, Atago, Maya, and Chōkai. They were designed for speed and firepower, featuring advanced radar and heavy armament, including 203 mm guns.
These cruisers played significant roles in various naval battles during World War II. Their design emphasized both offensive capabilities and protection, making them formidable opponents. The Takao-class ships were known for their distinctive silhouette and were among the most modern cruisers of their time.
