Tactical Bombers
Tactical bombers are military aircraft designed to deliver bombs and other munitions to support ground forces during combat. They are typically used for close air support, targeting enemy troops, vehicles, and fortifications. These bombers are often smaller and more maneuverable than strategic bombers, allowing them to operate effectively in various combat environments.
Unlike strategic bombers, which focus on long-range missions and large-scale targets, tactical bombers are intended for shorter missions with a focus on immediate battlefield needs. Examples of tactical bombers include the A-10 Thunderbolt II and the F-15E Strike Eagle, both of which are equipped to engage in direct support of ground operations.
