Table Rock Dam
Table Rock Dam is a concrete gravity dam located on the White River in Branson, Missouri. Completed in 1958, it was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide flood control, hydroelectric power, and recreational opportunities in the region.
The dam creates Table Rock Lake, a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. With a capacity of 43,000 acre-feet, it helps manage water flow and supports local wildlife. The dam also plays a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance of the White River system.
