TWA
TWA, or Trans World Airlines, was a major American airline that operated from 1930 until 2001. It was known for its extensive international routes and was one of the first airlines to offer transcontinental flights. TWA played a significant role in the development of commercial aviation and was a pioneer in introducing innovations such as in-flight services and advanced aircraft.
In 2001, TWA was acquired by American Airlines, leading to the airline's eventual dissolution. At its peak, TWA was recognized for its iconic red and white logo and its contributions to the airline industry, including the introduction of the Lockheed Constellation aircraft.
