TB (Terabyte)
A terabyte (TB) is a unit of digital information storage equal to 1,024 gigabytes (GB). It is commonly used to measure the capacity of hard drives, solid-state drives, and other storage devices. A terabyte can hold approximately 250,000 songs, 500 hours of high-definition video, or millions of documents, making it a significant amount of data for personal and business use.
In computing, the term byte refers to a group of eight bits, which are the basic units of data. As technology advances, storage needs continue to grow, leading to the development of larger units like petabytes (PB), which equal 1,024 terabytes.
