Tô Hoài
Tô Hoài was a prominent Vietnamese writer, born on September 27, 1920, in Hà Nội. He is best known for his contributions to Vietnamese literature, particularly in the genres of short stories and novels. His works often reflect the lives and struggles of ordinary people, showcasing the rich culture and history of Vietnam.
Throughout his career, Tô Hoài wrote over 100 works, including the famous novel Dế Mèn phiêu lưu ký (The Adventures of a Cricket). He received numerous awards for his literary achievements, including the Ho Chi Minh Prize in 2007. Tô Hoài passed away on July 6, 2020, leaving a lasting legacy in Vietnamese literature.
