Synthetic Cannabinoids
Synthetic cannabinoids are man-made chemicals designed to mimic the effects of natural cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. These substances are often sprayed onto plant material and sold as "herbal incense" or "spice," and they can produce effects similar to those of THC, the active component in marijuana.
Unlike natural cannabinoids, synthetic cannabinoids can be much more potent and unpredictable, leading to a range of side effects. Users may experience anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations, or even severe health issues. Because they are often unregulated, the safety and composition of these products can vary widely.
