Sweating
Sweating is the process by which the body releases moisture through the skin. This occurs primarily through sweat glands, which are found all over the body. Sweating helps regulate body temperature, especially during physical activity or in hot environments, by cooling the skin as the moisture evaporates.
The fluid released during sweating is mostly water, but it also contains small amounts of salts and other substances. Sweat can vary in composition depending on factors like diet, fitness level, and climate. While sweating is a natural and essential bodily function, excessive sweating can lead to conditions such as hyperhidrosis.
