Swami Narayan
Swami Narayan was a prominent spiritual leader and founder of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, a sect within Hinduism. Born in 1781 in Gujarat, India, he is revered for his teachings on devotion, morality, and the importance of a disciplined life. His followers believe he is an incarnation of God, and he emphasized the worship of Krishna and Rama.
Swami Narayan established several temples, the most famous being the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. He also promoted social reforms, including the upliftment of women and the eradication of caste discrimination. His teachings continue to inspire millions around the world today.
