Surpanakha
Surpanakha is a character from the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. She is depicted as a demoness and the sister of Ravana, the king of Lanka. Surpanakha is known for her unrequited love for Rama, one of the main protagonists of the epic. Her advances towards him are rejected, leading to a series of events that escalate the conflict in the story.
In her anger and frustration, Surpanakha seeks revenge by attacking Sita, Rama's wife. This confrontation results in her being disfigured by Lakshmana, Rama's brother, which further fuels the animosity between the characters.
