Suppressors
A suppressor, often referred to as a silencer, is a device attached to the muzzle of a firearm to reduce the noise generated when the gun is fired. It works by slowing and cooling the gases that exit the barrel, which decreases the sound level. Suppressors do not make guns completely silent but can significantly lower the noise, making shooting more discreet.
In addition to noise reduction, suppressors can also help improve accuracy by reducing recoil and muzzle rise. They are used in various applications, including hunting and shooting sports, and are regulated differently across regions, with some places requiring a special license for ownership.
