Super Lig
The Super Lig is the top professional football league in Turkey. Established in 1959, it features 18 teams competing annually for the championship title. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the TFF First League, allowing teams to move between divisions based on their performance.
Matches are typically held from August to May, with each team playing 34 games in a round-robin format. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion. The Super Lig is known for its passionate fan base and intense rivalries, particularly the matches between Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş.
